The Keeping Digital Foundation is proud to announce the continuation of design work with Yorkshire-based creative studio Buttercrumble.
It has been a huge year for Keeping Digital Foundation with the return of digital making activities and a promise to more than double services compared to pre-pandemic.

With this exciting future for the organisation, we are delighted to announce that we are continuing work with Buttercrumble, the creators of our characters.
A spokesperson from the Keeping Digital Foundation commented:

"We're delighted to be working again with Buttercrumble to further develop our designs and to bring our ideas to life. Buttercrumble stand for everything that we do, and their stories are so alike to that of our founders, that it is a dream pairing that we are able to work together on the branding of our charitable organisation.

Buttercrumble have recently designed some new illustrations of our characters, focusing on our digital making activities with the exciting launch of York CoderDojo alongside our pre-existing York Pi Jam activities.

These characters that are taking part in some of our activities in the illustrations mean that we can further advertise our free activities, and appeal to more young people to make sure that every student has the same opportunities regardless of where they live or what their school can offer.

Our characters fit the brief for our organisation so well, being genderless and encouraging boys and girls to develop their digital making skills, which also develops their problem solving, creativity and maths skills and gives them a start in STEM.

We're really excited to share future projects with Buttercrumble!"
