Want to know about the Raspberry Pi? Got your own but haven’t explored it yet? 
 
York Pi Jam happens usually every other month. That is: January then March … . It’s for beginners particularly, and also people who know a bit about Raspberry Pi computers! You don’t need to bring a Raspberry Pi as we have some you can use – but if you’d like to bring your own kit please feel free to do so.

York Pi Jam - Big Birthday Jam 

Where: Acomb Explore Library, York 
When: 28th February 17:15-19:15 
 
Celebrate the Raspberry Pi’s 10th birthday at our York Big Birthday Jam at Acomb Explore Library. Come and use our Raspberry Pis or bring your own. Code in Scratch or Python and make LEDs light up, etc.Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and we’re afraid we will not be able to provide refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own. It starts at 5:15 pm but just turn up when you can! The party is free – so come and enjoy some Raspberry Pi computer fun.

Due to COVID-19, we no longer are able to provide refreshments. Please bring your own food and drink.

You will need: 
A parent/guardian for anyone 12 or under. 
 
Our venue has computers so you do not need to bring your own laptop, but you can if you would like.
