We're Charity Partners of Connected North 2025

Connected North 2025 brings together the innovators and disruptors shaping the North's connected future for two days of essential learning and networking. In Manchester this 23-24th April, over 2,500 senior leaders from across the digital economy ecosystem will come together at Connected North, a regional forum on connectivity enabled social and economic growth. More than 200 trailblazing speakers and 200 of the North’s most innovative companies will be in attendance to discuss connectivity and technology transformation in the North of the UK.

Meet Gwiddle!

Gwiddle is now part of the Keeping Digital Foundation, aiming to improve access to digital technology and also support young people in Computer Science education. To allow more students to get involved and try coding, we're rolling out free digital making activities across the country, with the aim to inspire the next generation.

Get support at our Digital Cafes

Our Digital Cafes are popping up across Yorkshire, providing a space for local residents to get dedicated support in getting online.
Hosted in a 2 hour session, residents can come down for a warm drink and to ask any questions (and bring along any devices).
Our volunteers are here to help you get online, from setting up a smart phone to signing up to the NHS app or local council website.
At selected Digital Cafes across the city of York, the Keeping Digital Foundation are providing free digital workshops provided by our dedicated volunteers.

Data...bank! Virgin Money has brought the Databank to the high street

We've partnered with our friends at Virgin Money and O2 to make getting your free Databank SIM card even easier. If you can't make a Digital Cafe, you can now pop into your local branch of Virgin Money or select O2 store and ask to speak to a staff member about the Databank. The Databank scheme is discreet and confidential, and you don't have to be a Virgin Money or O2 customer.

Donate your old devices at our Monks Cross Hub

You can now donate your old digital devices for them to be wiped, refurbished, and redistributed to your local community - and where this is not possible, we'll ensure your device is responsibly recycled. Your devices will go on to support people across the region and will ensure every can stay connected.
