The Keeping Digital Foundation is proud to launch our updated characters to celebrate the amazing digital making activities we run across North Yorkshire.
Back in 2020, we launched our Cyber Warriors, the new part of our brand that appeals to more young people, helping us engage with our local communities.

Today, we are officially launching our brand new updated Keeping Digital characters, with the support of our digital making activities, including York CoderDojo and York Pi Jam

The characters have already been soft-launched across our socials and appear throughout the Keeping Digital Foundation website, becoming a key part of our brand and becoming recognisable across the region for our services.

Our digital making characters aim to encourage boys and girls to develop their digital making skills, which also develops their problem solving, creativity and maths skills and gives them a start in STEM.

Our characters are proudly taking part in some of our activities, with the block-based programming language Scratch featuring alongside Raspberry Pi's and electronics.

We look forward to bringing these characters alive throughout the city of York this Spring and North Yorkshire this Summer. If you spot them, remember to take a photo and tag us in the pictures on socials.
