The Keeping Digital Foundation, North Yorkshire’s leading digital inclusion charitable organisation, is thrilled to have opened it's new HQ based in Bootham, a minutes walk from the historic York City Centre!
Moving in to 66 Bootham allows us to be more central to the start of our story in York, providing a physical base for our volunteers, the Keeping Digital Foundation and Gwiddle.

We're delighted to be housed in Blake House, who own offices across the heart of York, all enjoying the City Centre lifestyle, with Bars, Restaurants, and the York Train Station nearby.

Set inside a beautiful 19th century property with stunning spiral staircase, the Bootham office is home to a wide range of amazing businesses and organisations. Plus, there is a large garden at the back of the building, with outside seating!

The Bootham office also highlights significant investment in our dedication to providing services for York and North Yorkshire, and we're excited to work further with the Blake House team to make Bootham the perfect home for Keeping Digital Foundation.

Fun fact: Bootham runs along a ridge of slightly higher ground east of the River Ouse. It follows the line of Dere Street, the main Roman road from Eboracum to Cataractonium. Many Roman remains have been found in the area, which was principally used for burials
