Our hub will be closed on Monday 16th December to allow maintenance works to take place at our Monks Cross Hub, including new signage. As a CIC, we always aim to operate in the public's interester, so you can view our planning documents here. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Pop in and say hi at our Monks Cross Drive Hub!

We're delighted to have opened our first Hub space at Monks Cross, York. Located just behind Monks Cross Shopping Park, our hub is home to multiple services run by the Keeping Digital Foundation.

Opened in March 2024, the hub was a new initiative by the organisation to turn unused business park units into spaces where we can better help our local communities. Our Monks Cross Hub operates as a main hub to the Keeping Digital Foundation and Gwiddle, whilst also taking on more face-to-face work compared to our Bootham registered office.

Our Monks Cross Hub is also the first location that accepts the donation of your old digital devices, which can then be refurbished to benefit your local community, or recycled where this is not possible.

Every Saturday, we are opening our hub to the public, where people can get face-to-face support with a volunteer at one of our desks, or chat digital on our green Keeping Digital sofa.

Our hub comes with free customer parking - just pull into The Storage Team and you'll find us located towards the back of the car park. We can't wait to see you!

Address: Keeping Digital Foundation, Monks Cross Drive, Huntington, York, YO32 9GZ (next door to The Storage Team)

A merry connected Christmas
Our team and volunteers are having a well deserved break over the festive period, meaning the Monks Cross Hub will be closed from Monday 23rd December 2024 and won't reopen to the public until Monday 6th January 2025.

Our telephone line and email support will reopen earlier on 2nd January 2025, and you can get in-person support at any of our Digital Cafes.

In December, our Monks Cross Hub will also be getting new signage and a deep clean. We aim to get these improvements done during our closure - however there may be some small disruption throughout December and January at this site.

We apologise for any inconvience caused and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
